Introduction

Hi guys! My name is Kari Lieberman, and I am a senior Elementary Education major. I transferred here from MCC where I played soccer for two years. I spent my first year at USM as a Mass Communications and film major, and then changed it this past summer. Since I made a drastic change in majors, my career goals have also been altered. I'm striving to graduate, with good grades, from the Elementary Education program at USM. Also, this year I received the Critical Needs scholarship for future teachers. This restricts me to work at a critical needs school in Mississippi for at least one year after I graduate. Hopefully after a few years of teaching, I will be able to go back to school and get my Masters in Business Administration.

I have a variety of experience with different technologies. Since my previous major dealt with film, I have had the opportunity to use different digital and video cameras for my work. I also have a Macbook, which has allowed me to expand my knowledge of different computers.

Technology is a major part of my life, and I will incorporate as many kinds in my classroom as I can. Computer programs are my favorite, and I believe that every kid should be given many opportunities to play and learn from them.
